Something very calming about that shelf (singular) against the wall. Knowing me, though, I would probably have like five or seven shelves (plural). Wait a minute, I already do, in my bedroom.

I’ve loved these precarious stairs for a long time. Notice how you have to start up or down the steps with the right (as opposed to the wrong foot) or the stairs won’t work. Genius.

My fave things in these pix are the two square paintings of the sea and the sky, in the bottom right photo. (The white shelf receding into the alcove is pretty neat too.)
